  • Take probiotics supplement and eat fermented food (Kefir, Kombucha, & Kimchi)
  • Take Milk Thistle supplement to improve your liver health
  • After consultation with your dietitian, take digestive enzymes and/ or bile salts
  • Eat resistant starch (cooked, cooled in the fridge, then heated potato or rice)
  • Take Organic Apple Cider Vinegar supplement (It helps your good bacteria thrive)
  • Do a thorough research before you start taking any prescribed PPIs
  • Eat your first meal in the afternoon. It might be difficult to follow this advice initially. You might start telling yourself things like:
    • "I can not do this",
    • "my body is different than other people bodies"
    • "my body needs energy in the morning"
    • "Breakfast is very important for me because I go to the gym"
    • "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" FALSE, it is not
    • Or you will find any excuse so you avoid doing it

I was, like most of you, programmed to think that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for more than 30 years. Once I started skipping breakfast, I noticed improvements in just 48 hours.

Regarding the prolonged fasting, I personally tried 4.5 days fasting just after being sick for more than 70 consecutive days and it was not really difficult. Keep in mind that was my first time to try prolonged fasting. If I did 4.5 days fasting during such circumstances, Imagine how long can a healthier person fast. It is all about the WILL to be WELL again.
