Our Story
This store was born as a result of the founder's personal struggle with numerous health issues – insomnia, high cholesterol, anemia, plantar fasciitis, knee injury, ankle injury, H. pylori, IBS/IBD, severe weight loss, and crippling anxiety – which had nearly broken him. To add insult to injury, he was run over by a bus when he was a little kid which left him with broken legs; he had a chronic pneumonia which almost killed him in 2011; and he had Hepatitis which almost costed him his liver in 2021.
He'd consulted countless doctors, undergone exhaustive testing, and tried every therapy imaginable to cure his IBS/ IBD and anxiety. He tried acupuncture, massage, homeopathy, neurofeedback, talk therapy, CBD therapy, cold plunges, Chinese herbs, and countless dietary changes such as intermittent fasting and prolonged fasting – all in a desperate attempt to regain his health. He also has been regularly attending Jiu-Jitsu classes after hearing about all the great healing stories because of this great sport.
The founder documented his progress, noting what worked and what didn't, eventually compiling a comprehensive understanding of his own body’s needs. After four years of trial and error, he finally found a combination of medication and supplements that managed his IBS/IBD and anxiety, allowing him to reclaim his health. This store is not just a business; it is the founder's passion to genuinely help people and it is a beacon of hope for anyone eager to improve his/ her health and wellbeing.
With his knowledge and experience, the founder's main goal is to help others through similar ordeals. Gueri-Vie (Healed-Life) is more than a store; it is a community, a resource centre where people could find not just supplements, but informed advice and empathetic understanding. Our story is a powerful reminder that healing is possible, often through a combination of conventional and alternative approaches, and that perseverance, coupled with informed choices, can lead to a healthier, happier life.
